Winter Camp at Braebern Farm

Ready to ride?

Winter camp may be the answer!

Riding is a year 'round sport! Learn barn management and the proper way to care for a horse including feeding, stall maintenance and turnout of the horses. Learn horse care in a hands-on atmosphere through grooming, learning how to wrap legs and visit with a vet as well as farrier to learn the important roles they play in the care of horses. You'll also learn about tack - parts of the saddle, bridle and leather care. But it's not all work, there's plenty of play too! Daily riding lessons will be held. Ever play "pin the tail on the pony"? Scavenger hunts and arts & crafts activities (horse related, of course!) are also on the agenda.
