Braebern Farm is now accepting new clients!

Whether your goal is to compete and win in the show ring, or to have a reliable trail companion, Braebern Farm can help! We offer a variety of services such as boarding, training, lessons, showing and sales, and customize our program to each customer's needs.
Our full
care board, reasonably priced and includes blanket charges, hay, grain, water, bedding, daily turnout
and hoof picking.
Our large 11x13 stalls
are fully matted and bedded in a
mix of pine shavings and pellet bedding to provide a comfortable and
dry environment for your horse. We feed high quality, first cutting Timothy
hay, supplement-ed with Safe Choice pellets. Safe Choice has been designed to
prevent colic and founder
and is used and recommended by farriers, vets and
competitors alike. We have found all of our horses do very well on it.
Turnout is provided every day, weather permitting, with a couple hours of
indoor turnout with a partner if the weather is severe. Please let us know
what your horses' blanketing needs are and we will be happy to accommodate
it!
Braebern Farm also offers riding lessons from beginner thru advanced in several disciplines. We currently train and compete in Hunters, Jumpers, Eventing, Pleasure, Gymkhana and Trail. We are very involved in 4H and last year our Quadrille Team took First Place at the State Fair! We are very excited about this years' show roster!
We also offer two lease programs on all of our lesson horses. A Full-Lease is a great way to 'have' your own horse, at a fraction of the cost and without the responsibility of vet and farrier bills. It's a great way to see if having a horse of your own is for you. Half-leases are available on all of our lesson horses. This includes 3 days of riding and you will have the first right to ride your horse if you choose to show. Full leases are available on select horses and include riding up to 6 days per week and exclusive rights to that horse. We are willing to do a working lease to those who are dedicated and responsible, interested in helping around the farm in exchange for some extra time in the saddle.
Here at Braebern Farm, you can expect a friendly, open atmosphere where everyone is here for the love of horses. We strive to ensure the safety of the students and horses at all times and promote horsemanship through example. Although we do compete, we don't expect all of our customers will, and treat everyone equally, whether they are A circuit or weekend riders.
